The study of international affairs and contemporary diplomatic practice as offered at the School of Oriental and African Studies provides a unique educational opportunity for individuals interested in acquiring a better understanding of the nature of contemporary global issues. SOAS offers an education that goes beyond the Euro-centric approach that has dominated such programmes in the past. It is able to do this because the width and depth of its scholarly resources make it the leading centre for the study of Asia and Africa in Europe.

The Centre is involved in a number of research projects, the links to which can be found on the left hand navigation pane. For those interested in the Centre's MA course, the link to the information can be found under prospective students at the top of the page. Students enrolled in the MA programme can log-in via the current students tab.
