  • UNWCC documents on Oskar Groening

    This document includes all information relating to Oskar Groening in the files of the United Nations War Crimes Commission (UNWCC), the 1943 - 1948 international agency founded by the Allies to coordinate the identification and prosecution of war crimes suspects. Groening was listed on ‘common design’ charges (conspiracy in the commission of large-scale crimes) by Dr Marian Muszkat, representative of the Polish National Office. Following an assessment by the Commission’s secretariat in London, Groening was listed as a war crimes suspect on 20th March 1947.
