HE Knut Langeland, Ambassador for Disarmament affairs for the Royal Norwegian Government's Ministry of foreign Affairs, delivered the opening keynote speech, outlining his country's approach to the disarmament agenda.

Baroness Shirley Williams, an advisor to UK Prime minister Gordon brown on nonproliferation issues, gave the afternoon keynote addressing the issues of global nuclear nonproliferation
